The Level II curriculum adheres to an academic format of didactic lectures focused on understanding anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, disease states and healing processes.

 

Faculty members include MDs and PhDs as well as CIAYT faculty presenters. The Level II program can be conducted virtually.

 

The Level II graduate of is able to demonstrate knowledge of the scope of practice relative to applications of yoga therapy for patients within a clinical setting.

IIYT, is the first accredited yoga therapy programs in Michigan is the first yoga therapy certification program in the United States to be held under the auspices of a hospital.  
 

Graduates are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a RYT 500.

Please note that successful completion of Level II is a prerequisite for acceptance to the IIYT Level III Clinical Externship program.
